What LifeSpark is

These terms are between you and Pivot Course LLC (“LifeSpark”, “we”). They are effective October 19, 2026.

LifeSpark is a self-improvement game and a coaching aid. It keeps a scoreboard of fires for areas of your life, and a coach you talk to. It is not medical advice, mental-health care, financial advice, or any other professional advice. Do not use it in place of a doctor, therapist, lawyer, or financial advisor.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older.

LifeSpark is invite-only. An invite code does not create an account until you hear what is stored and say yes.

Acceptable use

Use LifeSpark for your own life. Do not break into someone else's hearth, guess invite codes, overload the service, or use it to harm someone. Do not submit unlawful content.

Your content

You own the words, logs, goals, and other content you submit. You let LifeSpark store and show that content so the hearth and the coach can work for you. You can export it or delete it. When you delete the hearth, LifeSpark deletes the account and the data stored with it.

Hearth links

Your hearth link is unlisted. Anyone with the link can open that hearth. You are responsible for who you share it with. If you lose it, ask the coach for the current one. You can ask the coach to rotate the link, which turns the old one off.

Export and deletion

Ask the coach for a copy of your data, or to delete the hearth. Deletion is permanent. How consent works is described on the privacy page.

Beta, changes, and availability

LifeSpark is in beta. The service can change, pause, or stop. We do not guarantee that it will be available, that data will be kept forever, or that a score will be right. Export a copy if you want one on your own machine.

Disclaimer of warranties

The hearth, the coach's words, and the scores are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Pivot Course LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the coach is accurate, complete, or suitable for any decision.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Pivot Course LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make from the coach's words or the scores. If a court finds us liable, the limit is the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. LifeSpark does not charge a fee today, so that amount may be zero. Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limit is the smallest the law allows.

Termination

You can stop by asking the coach to delete the hearth. We can suspend or end access if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the beta. Ending access does not by itself delete your data. Ask for deletion if you want it gone.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The page will show a new effective date. If you keep using LifeSpark after that date, the new terms apply. If a change is large, the coach will tell you once.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes are brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of California.
